So I had a DCC170 which could not record anymore because the tiny switch that is under the red REC/PAUSE button on the lid was broken. Actually the black tab you see here had completely broken off.
I found online a switch that looked like it could be a good replacement, so I ordered this one:
I can confirm that this one fits and works perfectly! The DCC170 can now record again.
