You do record with full volume from the PC?
No at around 60 procent. But i thought due to the fact that it is digital that it will follow the input (source) and not the output volume of your pc.
Some digital outputs don’t have a volume control others reduce the samples accordingly which makes the sample rate go to waste.
Which sound card, audio source, and operating system are you using? I suggest using a player with some exclusivity mode.

Hi, i am just playing the music via VLC player.
I think it was because of the file were the audio was very silent. Other audio streams went fine and there the volume was high enough

I use a usb to spdif/coax converter to my DCC deck and have to set the recording volume on my laptop. A setting of 89 seems to give the correct level on most recordings. (I mostly use FLAC files)
