My DCC730 showed “clean head”, but it worked fine for @drdcc before. The solution was that my phone’s inteference was the problem, switching it to flight mode made the DCC play fine.
Interesting tip!
Make sure you use cassettes that don’t have a sticky pad problem too, of course.
