Update: mp2enc 2022-1 makes it easier to encode files for DCC-Studio

Yesterday I uploaded a new release of mp2enc.exe which takes a new command line parameter “-i” to specify an input file. That means it doesn’t rely on redirecting input anymore (although that’s still supported). When you use the -i option to specify an input file, the -o output file name option is no longer mandatory: if you don’t specify an output file, the output file name is generated by changing the file extension on the input file name, depending on the format that you want to generate: For example, when encoding a DCC-Studio file by entering -a “artist” or -t “track name” with -i somefile.wav, it generates somefile.trk and a .lvl and .mpp file.
