Hi, I have a RS DC8 player, no sound on a DCC, distorted sound on an analog casette, and proper sound on the analog line (from an external source). Any ideas of what may need fixing? Thanks a lot!
Assuming it has not been worked on……It might need a full restoration.
Capacitors, gear and pinch rollers first. It could also be a broken connection or a problem with the head.
