As i am pretty busy with the restauration of several portable DCC players for the hobby (i repaired one 130, one 134, two 170 and one 175) i every now and than stumble up to vanished “rubber knobs” (how do you call them) on the bottom of the players. (See photo)
Are there replacement options available for these Knobs.
Is there also a possibility to decrease the “sticky” effect of the covers and maybe replace the letters on the side, instead of using a donor which doesn’t have the “sticky cover” problem.
Thanks Ralf. I will check the feets link. Indeed solvents will remove the lettering unfortunately. Maybe there is a possibility to bring them back by using new lettering (printed)after removing the sticky layer.
I came a little bit further with my investigation and maybe i found something that could help us all to remove the sticky layer and place new printed lettering on portable player like the 130/134/170/175. I let you all know what the outcome is when i have tested it myself
