Panasonic RS-DC10 Aztech adjustment

Hi at all,

I ask an information to this Panasonic deck.

I have reccapped this deck, but someone misaligned the Aztech heads screw.
I ask if is possible to re-adjust the Aztech adjustment. On the SM i don’t find this adjustment.
Is possible to re-adjust?

I hope to save it.

Thanks at all.

Nothing?
Is possible to adjusting with a pre-recorded tape, with looking the error rate?
Or looking the R-mux?

Thanks.

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

If Someone did break the Seal of the azimuth adjustments, it is best lt go into the Service mode, choose all errors and adjust, side a and b until there are no Errors. You can use a pre-recorded tape for this,

That is how we do it.

Thanks, i have it.
But i make a rough adjustment with this.
I have find hidden on my compact cassette a Scotch 3M dcc tape.
I have played this and aligned roughly the azimuth…
and sound perfectly both sides
Sadly after one playback, the felt pad detach from the cassette :-/

But i’m really happy it’s play with very zero error rate.

Very important to be using a tape you can rely on.

Glas it worked out.

Hi at all,

I have confirmed the Aztec adjustment with a pre-recorded tape.
Zero error rate, in both sides. It’s perfectly: no dropout. I’m happy.

Thanks at all m(_ _)m
