I am repairing a DCC900
It reads perfectly well, sound and marker as well as the times.
But when recording, it does not write the markers and the times.

Could be the head and/or the read write board.
Have you checked multiple tapes?
I checked several tapes and I have the same problem
I can’t test with another head/card because I don’t have any others that work
I am waiting another DCC900 to test the head
And i just received 2 CMS VR for R165, because in two cards they are HS
Maybe a easy solution DCC has 8 audio tracks and 1 data track. It could be polluted. Could you clean the head again, manually with isopropanol.
