After build in a EVOR04 display incl. rotary encoder in my DCC951 the recorder did not select digital, optical or analog input and recording was not possible.
The problem was the removed microphone connector, standard when the connector is not in use the line-in is connected and recognized.
Conclusion: after removing the Microphone connector there must be made a double shortcut on the microphone/headphone board.

Normaly I keep my DCC equipment original.
I saw the video on youtube of the DCC museum and found it was a great solution.
it is a useful and beautiful addition.
There is still another (original) DCC 951 in my collection.
