Firstly I’d like to thank DCC Museum for getting the belt kit and new gear over to me, pretty quickly.
My DCC 600 now plays and records beautifully, I do have an intermittent no cassette and block issue, although a slight bit of pressure on the tray dismisses this error and the machine plays as it should.
This happens maybe once every 10 tray operations and I feel that the tray is just slightly sticking at the end of its travel.
I was wondering if anyone could point me to the lubrication points on the tray mechanism as I feel that might just be the way to get the tray to close every time.
Thanks in advance and please accept my apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but I couldn’t locate anything specific on lubrication of the tray.
