DCC951 without counter

Hi to you all!

I have a DCC951 that plays fine, all heads read their track fine, so only 0’s in test mode.

However, it doesn’t show the time, nor text info, only when using the index function, it flashes the minutes and seconds intermittently. After pressing play the time disappears again.

Does anyone have an idea?

Have you tried cleaning the head with isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab?

Try cleaning all the micro switches on the left of the mechanism.
After you open the player and manually eject the tray, you can see them on the left (inside).
