Hello I have a question about my DCC 951 it says clean head but I opened the tray and shined a flashlight and it looks pretty clean. Could this be an issue with the media and not the head?
As long as you are not experiencing dropouts you can totally ignore it.
If tape contact is briefly lost this message appears. Cleaning the head will not solve it. Very common with these machines and nothing to worry about.
