Hi,
I’ve noticed that my DCC175 produces audible high frequency hiss (13KHz, if measured directly) on the headphones output. Initially I thought it was related to bad capacitors. I’ve replaced them all (it was a good decision - some of them started to leak), cleaned boards and then checked again. Unfortunately no changes. After that I thought of broken headphone amplifier (BA3570FS). Its ALC SW input has oscillation when ALC (DBB) switch is in MID or MAX position. BA3570FS replacement did nothing.
After that I referred to the board from other DCC175 I have which I have not started repair process yet. And again - the same hiss.
My DCC170 does not have this issue.
Does somebody also have such issues with DCC175, or are they just my issues?
From my opinion it seems that DCC175 had some issues with PCB layout, and subband digital output produces some noise on headphone circuit.
Thanks,
Alexander
