DCC 951 gear

Beside the DCC Museum store and some Ebay items (Poland) is there an address in the Netherlands to get a gear for the Philips DCC 951? If so, please let me know.
Mine is broken and makes the ratteling sound while fast forward or rewinding the tape.

Be careful. Some of the sellers use improper packing and some sell parts with wrong inner diameter. I had both. Best results with red polish part… Carefully packed and best fit. I woud recommend these.

Thanks for this reminder. Good to know.

I got the gear on eBay from Poland. The quality is excellent and the recorder is running smooth again.

I’ve got very bad experience with red gears from Poland, three times in a row. The gears were not finished smoothly and I had to do this by hand. Furthermore they looked bad overall.

I’ve added a picture, so you can see for yourself.
Seller sold better gears in the past, but this was a year ago.

I see that there are different experiences regarding the gears from Poland. So far, no problem at all. Fit was good and gear was well finished. We’re going to see how the gear performs in the longer term.

The gear from Poland. Pictures from eBay but gear looks identical.

Yes, it’s the same apple guy

When did you purchase these?

Two weeks ago.

After a month of use, the gear is broken. One of the teeth has broken off. Luckily, I still had the old gear. Super glue works wonders.

About 5 years ago, I bought white gears from the same guy. These still run on this day, after many hours of use. But he only sells pink/red gears now. These just aren’t the same quality.

By the way, if you let him know your gear broke, he will send you a new gear for free. At least, he did for me.

I already contacted him and he is sending a new gear to me.

I received two new gears. Hope they will last longer.
