DCC 900 Audio drop outs - input and play

Hi,

I bought DCC 900 in a good condition. It had problems playing caused by the leaking capacitors and replaced. Both boards are clean with little signs of corrosion. Cleaned up. Nothing major.
Recapping definitely worked.

BUT
I have regular audio drop outs. Audio drops for a millisecond or so once per second.
I connected the optical input and I have the same audio drop outs even when not recording! The deck is in record pause and sound drops every second or so. The display shows drops input signal .
The recording works (with the drop outs) and plays (adding even more drop outs).

Has anyone had this issue? Can you point me where to look?

An update.
the issue was caused by faulty traces on the audio board. Checked every suspicious corroded vail and found one that was faulty.
