Today i started restoring a DCC 170.
Never before, and I already have more than 10 players defective restored, I came across 1 with a different layout than standard. Someone who knows this version and can explain why the layout is different? I’m very curious. Could this be an early version or a developer version?
If you look very closely you see a small pcb on the original PCB board. I have never see this in other 170 or 175’s. Very curious what it is about.
I think i already found it, but still not clear what it really is. Alway nice to know what is the difference and what else.
Was this originally delivered this way or was it done by a repair?
Player works perfectly fine after replacing the belt. I have to test other things like recording, but just playing is fine.
