DCC 170 no display other than charging but I hear motor noice

I have a DCC 170 I have been using for years. It had worked with no problems until today when it shutdown and now it will not come back on. I can get to display “Charging” but nothing else. When I place either a DCC or ACC I hear the motor spinning up and down but nothing happens. No sound either. Any ideas?

Hi and welcome . If the motor makes a sound it is usually the belt or the motor.
