DCC 134 - eats tape after changing the old rotton belt

Hi folks,

after I just changed the old rotton belt, I now have the following problem:
1: Side A is completely rewound - “Play” works on side A.
I then switch to side B (i.e. end of side B) and press “Play”, then it plays briefly and stops - result: tape mess.
2: Side B is completely rewound - “Play” works on side B.
I then switch to side A (i.e. end of side A) and press “Play”, then it plays briefly and stops - result: tape mess.

Could it be the pinch roller?

Hi,
This could be the pinch roller, but also a mechanic tape guid problem.
Are you sure the belt is the correct size, as I have seen problems like this as well, when the belt is still struggling.
