DCC 130 - no fast forward

Hi!

A few weeks ago I bought a DCC 130. There was a lot to fix (new caps, new belt, broken pcb tracks, wrong screws etc) but one problem remained - there is no “fast forward” and “track search forward”. The other functions “play”, “rewind”, “track search back” are working well.

As I have a lot of donor parts, I changed the motor unit and the motor driver board - unfortunately without sucess.

If you press “FFW” oder “track search forward” the player goes back a few seconds and after two seconds the player switches to side B and then it changes the directions to rewind. I have not seen any blocking in the mechanism.

Hi Stefan, did you solve the problem? I have had the same problem with a 130 as you describe last week. I thought it would be the new and capacitors but that wasn’t the problem. Im not sure what solved the issue but I changed the belt with an 0,6mm 100mm belt. I sprayed some silicone on the shaft of the motor and assembled it again. Afterwards it worked again. Could also be that one of the flat cables was not put far enough in the socket. Hope it helps
