I was wondering whether I need to stick to Nichicon and Panasonic caps when restoring the r/w board and pasc board on a DCC900.
Some of these are a bit hard to find in the Netherlands.

Hi @Eric_Dikkers . I didn’t use Nichicon or Panasonic when repairing my DD82 around 10 years ago. I used ELKO smd, not sure about the two through hole one I used. Still going strong even today! Hope this helps.

You can also use other high quality caps of the same value and with the same or better voltage and temperature tolerance, most of them are of Japanese origin.
