I got lucky and another 951 got listed shortly after I received my 2nd one.
I did not hesitate for a second and clicked the “buy it now” button.
Arrived today and I opened it up first thing.
The gear was not cracked on this player either
But the head was a total mess on this one.
Pinch-rollers and capstans very dirty as well.
After some serious cleaning I think I managed to get the head cleaned fairly well
I think the pinch-rollers are good enough (after cleaning) to use and try the player, but my order with spare’s from DCC Museum is now at customs in my country so there won’t be much more waiting until they arrive.
I’ll just wait for them to arrive and install new ones before I try playing.
